the newly renovated Anchor prides itself on being a welcoming,
drinks-only public house for all to enjoy.

Our little pub opened in the summer of 2025, after a family-led renovation fuelled by months of hard work and one shared goal - to bring The Anchor back to life. Friends with green thumbs, mums hanging pictures, nans wallpapering, sons painting and getting stuck into the woodwork… it was a real team effort, and we’re so grateful to have finally opened our doors to you.

Focused on creating the charm of a traditional British pub with a fresh new feel, The Anchor now boasts a beautifully renewed interior, great draught beers, local real ales, live TNT Sports, a pool table, darts, and a suntrap beer garden perfect for those long afternoons.

The whole family - including the fluffy ones! - are welcome to come and enjoy our cosy little pub all year round.
